I went into hospital with Diabetic (Type One) Ketoacidosis, spend half the time there in an insulin infusion drip and went through about 14 800ml bags of potassium . Was about 1 day away from coma  ...
So, lotsa insulin needles and healthier eating for me now. Good thing I am only a once a week kinda cigar smoker, or that would have been some more adjusting to be had.
