the best cheap cigar

Haven't had one in a while, but the LGC Wavells used to be great smokes for the money. AF 858 and Sungrown Chateaus can still be had for that kind of dough as well, and have never failed me. Padron 2000s are great for the dough too.

Cheap cheap, the Consuegras are a really good deal.

Padron 2000, regular or maddy.
Jose L Piedra "Cazadores".

Both even better with a year+ of rest time on 'em.

A few months ago, a buddy of mine clicked the daily deal on Famous when they were offering one of their house sticks - the Aspira Maduro Torpedo. I think the deal was 30 bucks for a bundle of 25. He gave me one - and I have to admit I liked the hell out of it! Even the regular price makes for a cheap smoke at 40 bucks for 25. Cheap and tasty! It had rich, almost sweet caramel-like flavors reminiscent of a JdN Antano or a AB Maxx.

Find a deal online and get something like the Ghurka Legend's 5 pack, which retails at $92.50 supposedly, and was on sale for $19.99 worked out to 4 bucks a stick. I don't know though, I have trouble even considering spending more than $10 on a stick, but I find pretty good deals online all the time, and I average about $5 per stick at this point. But then, I'm a newb, so maybe I'm only smoking Kristoff, Alec Bradley, 5 Vegas, and Ghurka dog rockets, lol.

10 DPG at 35$ from CI, or something like that, puts them at $3.50. It's a pretty regular deal, you can call CI and tell them you missed it and they'll usually honor it even past the daily deal.

Other than that, at MSRP, Padron 2000s, hands down.

My vote is for the El Rey Del Mundo Rectangulare. I prefer the natural. One of the only "cheap" cigars I keep in my stock.

I was at my local B&M and over heard the owner and a customer talking. The customer asked about "Vega Fina". So I as well bought 3 robustos. Good smoke. Very popular in Europe and could not be found in the US until the last couple years. $3 US.

Oliva G Maddy, I think it is a great smoke, even for short filler.

Oliva O Robusto Maddy. A nice morning cigar with strong coffe really brings the maduro out. Sometimes after a long night of smoking when I know my palate is cashed I will smoke G's as well.

Don Tomas Sungrown Robusto. I hate Don Tomas, but this cigar is alright.

I also agree witht the JFR comment above.

x 1,000 for Padron, but Partagas Black isn't a bad selection either

In my newbness, this has been one of the cigars I have really enjoyed. I'm finding lots of cigars I don't like in the process! My B&M must be high because they (Partagas Black) aren't real cheap here.

Padron 2000 maduro
AF Chateua Fuente SG
AF 858 maduro or cameroon if you prefer those
