C'mon guys, all's fair in love, war, and commerce. This vendor has done nothing more serious than selling a gifted cigar, or maybe a bad put for a take. If Al outs him, vote with your dollars.

What ever happened to free enterprise? I know you always have great deals and service Al.I will call or PM you when I need more smokes. You always created excitement around here with your deals. Way to piss on our fun...the bastid. :angry:
 
I am disgusted by the fact that Al and other CP vendors have been censored because of loose lips. I thought we were all fellows who shared love for cigars and bonded by the leaf, so shouldn't we all lend each other a helping hand? Many of these other censored Vendors, not Al specifically, span several boards, so the deals they would have offered openly are now hush hush, and that as a whole is counterproductive to the very idea of what I believe a cigar community has always been.

The pigeon may have been in his/her legal right, but he/she insulted Al, other CP Vendors, and everyone else in the community.
 
Too bad some maroon has to cause a problem. You're a stand up guy Al, a real BOTL. I've always looked forward to the "I'm bored" posts. Now I'll be looking forward to an "outing post".

However, I'm totally new here and also have a cigar shop.

I'd just like to say that it wasn't me!

Business is business but a rat is still just a rat. Can't say I disagree with anything anyone here was posted about this situation.

Al I haven't purchased anything from your stock yet, but man I sure as HELL Loved you I'm bored spcials and the PM race to deplete you stock, some co-workers and I ran a "quick-pool" a time or 2 waiting for your I'm out of stock announcements. :laugh:

On a serious note I'm a cheap bastard and will always look for the lowest price from a reputable dealer, however if you product cost a bit more but if your Customer Service is the BOMB I much rather spend the little extra and get Awesome Custome Service. My $$$ is your Al.

I hope that you're able to get the corroboration and confirmations that you need to be in a position to out the sh*t. We've done a few deals, and as you may have guessed, I buy a lot of cigars. And I do a lot online, 'cause it's cheaper than flying all over the country. :) But, in all candor, I'd hate like hell to be buying stuff from an asshat that whines about another brother who's just doin' business. We're all looking for good deals. And if you can make what you need to make, you're well within your [moral] rights to do that at whatever price you like. Piss on him. We all look forward to know who'll never get our business.
 
What a cigar nazi. I've had hours of fun watching Als threads. And scored some good deals. Now some vendor who wants my business says no more? Out thyself cigar nazi, so we can all make an informed decision of who we deal with.
 
puff, that sucks and i'm sorry to hear about this happening. I've always been of the opinion that every cigar shop owner should be a BOTL first, and a shop owner first. The two halves of this business are equally important, because this is a hobby/habit under constant fire from society and government, where we have to stick together or be driven to extinction. This is also a group with great loyalty to Service, Friendship, and a great Attitude, much moreso than other price-driven markets. I couldn't begin to count the BOTL who gladly, happily pay more, sometimes considerably more, to shop from a vendor who has contributed to the community, here, online, and at B&M's. Which is as it should be.

Now these allegations are still merely that, but should they turn out to be true, I can only say that the 'snitch' is in the wrong market, in not contacting YOU personally demonstrate they lack even the rudiments of a spine, and they deserve absolutely none of our business. Perhaps they should stick to selling cigarettes, pokemon cards, or beanie babies, since they are clearly chasing what they thing is another soulless fad market.

Personally, the cigars you put on special are usually above my pay grade, but I do love to see the amazing deals you offer your friends here, and I thank you for continuing to do so; for preserving your dedication to your allies despite new adversity. I salute you, sir. :thumbs:

Since the Supreme Court ruled Manufacturers have the right to set minimum prices. So I cannot out them due to possible legal ramifications for myself.

I was just took the word "out" and hope to draw a connection to a funny episode. The post wasn't really that substantive but I was hoping that another fan might pick up what I was talking about. In retrospect, the link might have been a bit vague but, in my comedic defense, I am still suffering from pretty heavy jet lag after a long flight. More evidently, I just wanted to make a point that the use of the word "out" can have a very different meaning depending on the situation. Sometimes my humor does not translate so well...

Just so you know, BBS, I go to a university in Decatur and enjoy going to Puff N Stuff far too much to ever insult Al. No worries...Hopefully that explains my end.
