I have to say, from what I have seen you write on this site, you have a fantastic attitude towards such a painful situation. A lot of people would be moaning for sympathy, overplaying the pain for maximum pats on the head.

You seem to be a strong sort of guy, and I do hope that you can get through all this tinkering as quickly and painlessly as possible. I wish you luck.
 
I have to keep my head up and not get down about it because that would only make my situation worse. The pain is the easy part to deal with, it's the bordom that is really killing me (thank god for CP). I mean you can only look at so much porn and watch so much TV. I save the sympathy card for getting things out of my wife! lol

Well it wasn't as bad as they had anticipated it was gunna be. when they got in there they didn't find the rotator cuff torn like the MRI showed. Instead they found some bone spurs that they removed and some torn tendons that they fixed. So I will be able to move my arm as soon as the pain goes away instead of waiting 4 weeks like it was originally. I have this cool pump thing dripping lidocaine directly into my shoulder to keep the pain down, wish it would be more of a pour then a drip lol.

So all in all i guess it cut a few months off my recuperation time :)
 
Glad to hear it went better than expected. Stay strong and will keep you in continued thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery brother.

Glad everything went well. How's the Father-in-law situation working out?
 
It's going ok i guess.. He stays busy and out of my hair unless I need him. He's a lil loud and set in his ways but whatever.
 
I think I am allergic to the shit in this pump cause my arm is itchy as a mofo! ARGHHHHH
 
I think it was the adhesive from the bandages making me itch cause I took them off and the itch isn't so bad anymore. But everywhere the tape touched my skin is bumpy now.
 
man...these blisters are leaking fluid like crazy! Shit is running down my arm. Not out of the incision but out of the blisters.
 
Unfortunate bastid. What would be more unfortunate would be if those leaking blisters somehow stained your good furniture.

Glad to hear it was not as bad as the doctors thought mate. Better than the other way around.
 
Actually I fell asleep for a bit and they did stain my damn recliner! :(

O well...bout typical for the way my life is going lately.
