US consumption map

Wow Ray. I was very suprised at the statistics. Thanks for the link.

BTW, I lthink your current Sig Line Cigar Girl is my favorite so far.

So there isn't anything else to do in North Dakota or Montana, then drink?

Great link! It is obvious that I am not doing my part, but I will try harder.

This is a pretty interesting link. I wondering if one is available for a more global look. Also might be interesting to cross reference the American one over time.

well that didnt surprise me but New Hampshire #1 thats probably the first time they came in first haaaaa

Interesting that California did not get much higher. Large population and the huge wine culture.

Well us Michiganders got 38...That is closer to Utah then I like

I can't believe my home state of Wisconsin came in 7th. We shall have to drink harder in the future.

I believe the highest rate of alcoholic consumption in the US was in 1830. Oddly enough, that same year marked the peeked acceleration of the Second Great Awakening.

Apparently I don't drink nearly enough if we're only #4. I'll get right on that!

Ray, there was a solid, black dot in SE Pa on the Spirits map. Care to explain?

I think Nevada should be excluded or confined to only residents. Vegas and tourists are driving up their numbers. Ben, you need to launch a "Drink More" campaign in your state. Thats shameful, finishing one place worse than there are states.

Thanks for the info. If I ever need a liver transplant, I now know to decline if it's coming from No Dakota!

I have heard that over and over...I am surprised that Washington, Oregon, and Cali are not higher in wine consumption.
