Friends stopped by last night with a new bottle of Elijah Craig 21 Year old Single Barrel Bourbon. Very tasty indeed, a nice way to wind down Christmas.

I started last night with Makers Mark and finished with Wild Turkey Unforgiven.
 
Makers is my staple, so no surprises there.  Unforgiven was new, and I was not overly impressed.

Next some Russel Reserve Single Barrel
Followed by a 28 yeard old Linkwood
And finished w/ 37 year old Glen Grant
All very nice and different!

Stagg Jr.  Bottle is about 80% empty and been open for 2-3 months.  This is really starting to shine with some air time.  It has that typical stagg richness just a little more aggressive than Sr but, the profile is still there.  This has turned into a very enjoyable dram...  
 
Wish the next batch would be released already.
