We pulled out an old Kraco am fm 8 track/CB from the dash of a 1972 Blazer today. It was held in place with this old cigar box lid. It was suggested they were La Aroma cigars. This has to be at least 30 years old. The stuff I've come across to hold a radio in over the years is quite comical.

Ive seen em held in with silicon and empty cigarette packets but never a cigar box...

I'll hang it in my shop at home. The 2 worst installs I've come across were, 1- a person that bought a deck, took it home to do his own install, screwed the deck to the brackets to mount it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,with 2 inch screws through the deck. (not covered under warranty) And 2- this is the worst, the person had used egg cartons to support the back of the deck. He may have wanted to get all the eggs out first though. :laugh:
