I use a coolerdor for my boxes of stock, but I also have an old desktop humidor that I bought a long time ago for single and ready-to-smoke sticks.
I recently saw that CheapHumidors.com is on the scumbag list, so where else online can I find a nice desktop humidor?
Obviously, there's CBid...
I got an email about too from one of my vendors. Rather than use the pre-made email from CRA, I wrote my own template (just changed the names and whether it was the House or Senate bill I was referring to) and sent emails to my senators and my rep. Only one email back so far and it didn't...
It's kinda small-ish (never been to Philly, so I can't compare), but was a good time nonetheless. Obviously, that'll depend on what the exhibit is. I don't remember there being any other art there than just the main exhibit. Also, what cracked me up at the time was the gift shop. For the...
I've been twice while on business and absolutely LOVE the city of Montreal....
...just hate the tobacco taxes!
As far as cigar smoking, the LCDH is on Rue Sherbrooke. Very nice staff, great selection of cigars, and an awesome lounge that will serve you up coffee, mojitos, scotch...
Oh yeah, every other box I've got, I've opened it and check it out every so often, just to make sure for the stuff I'm trying to age. We'll see in another five years, we'll see how they turn out. Fingers crossed!
Don't jinx me now!
I personally keep my humis in the 65% range and the house never gets over 70 degrees, usually in the mid to high 60's. Beetles historically only seem to hatch when it's over 70 degrees and/or over 70% humidity.
It was already a year or two old from the B&M...
Older box codes can be suspicious.
And they shouldn't look toooooo crap, especially more recent ones, since quality control has gotten better in recent years. They're supposed to match the sticks for color when they fill the box (as in, they should all be around the same shade of wrapper...
Guess I'm not the only one, lol. I always buy the glass bottle sixer (of tonic or club soda) because the 1 liter bottles always go flat before I'm done using them.
I'm guessing Q and Fever Tree don't come in smaller bottles.
Party Shorts, RASCC, Bolivar CJ's are all good smokes, as are PLPCs, Bolivar PCs, MC #4, and one of my personal faves, the RyJ Romeo No. 2.
Another nice quick smoke are the Partagas Chicos and Montecristo Puritos. Won't last as long as petit corona or tres petit, but are good for a ten or...
Not the oldest right now, but I have a box of Tatuaje Havana Cazadores still sealed up in the foil that I'm trying not to touch until they're ten years old. They're getting close to 5 years old now.
Being here in southern Iraq, there are "Cuban" cigars available from the local vendors.
I say that with parentheses because they are some of the laziest fakes I've ever seen. I'm talking photocopied bands from a scanner running low on ink, lol. I've tried to warn my joes to stay away from...
Last box I bought was a box of Romeo No. 2 tubos..........about 9 months ago. The vendor in question failed to mention he was out of stock until I waited two months and emailed him. They finally found their way to my address in the states about a month or so ago, and the wife was kind enough...
