I've wanted to try my hand at running a pass for a while, but for one reason or another, I haven't. This being the Pass off-season, I figured I'd run a pass in a way that keeps cigars out of the heat as much as possible, while still giving people (especially newbs) the opportunity to participate in something similar to a traditional pass.
I've noticed that shipping a traditional pass has cost me anywhere between $12 and $25 dollars, and really all you want is a few of them. So basically, I'll post a pass list, and a pass order, and people will post their Puts/Takes for discussion and approval when their turn comes up. They'll send their puts to me, and I'll ship their takes back to them, using a prepaid Click-n-Ship label addressed FROM ME, TO YOU. Total shipping costs to you guys will be a small package sent to me, and the one sent back to you, which will generally run about the same, or less than, a traditional pass (2 small boxes < 1 large box). Also, since I'm not sending anything out, until I have each person's Puts, this is perfect for newbs who want to get their feet wet.
Now for the more mundane rules:
Participation is open to all members in good standing with a join date prior to 05/01/2012. I will close the participants list in about a week. Please post in this thread if you're in. No need to PM me at this point.
NC for NC, CC for CC.
Please do your best to match price for price, rarity for rarity. Please avoid Putting a duplicate stick. That being said, the pass will include a few duplicate sticks initially.
I will randomly determine Pass order since we don't need to worry about geographic proximity. By random, I mean I'll just assign it according to my whim.
