Music will be updated along with the review to help establish a timeline. I skipped a few songs absent mindedly, to keep this easy I've placed a tilde (~) in front of all songs.

The ash on all of these was a pure white, and holds for about a half inch. The only exception was the tubo, which had darker rings.

~Dead Kennedys - winnebago warrior

first CAO 'Eileens dream' robusto
Pre light inspection: Mottled wrapper with minor imperfections. Well packed filler, infrequent veins, perhaps from smaller leaves? Good pre-light draw.
The flavors in this stick were really chaotic and fleeting at times, I've described as best I can. The very sugared wrapper caused the flavors (which were persistant throughout) of tobacco, vanilla, and clove to come out more towards the tail end of the smoke when it wasn't so distracting.

Physical / mental condition: 5/5 (feelin' fine)

The light was fast, scent of sweet woodsmoke and clove
first few puffs: clove, and tobacco, woody, reasonable voluminous smoke. very insenced, reminds me of 'Nag Champa' and vanilla incense.

~Norah Jones - In the Morning
~Rage against the machine - War within a breath

More puffs of clove, woody, cumin on the eggs was a good flavor to mix, tobacco is coming into its own just a little, much like a really mild cigar. This is, of course, if you can ignore the sugared tip.

med_gallery_5157_232_30143.jpg

~MC Frontalot - Special Delivery

The smoke starts to pick up nearing the end of the first third, definite vanilla flavors coming through now.

Very nice looking ash huh?

gallery_5157_232_21728.jpg

~Def Leppard - foolin'

A flavor of sweet earthiness comes through as I peek into the 2nd third of this piece of sugar candy.

~Dead Kennedys - chickenshit conformist

As I move into the middle of the stick there's a satisfying thick woodsmoke and clove.. possibly honey as well, though it was just a glancing tinge

~James Brown - money wont change you
~Dance Music Federation - cyberstar

Unidentifiable sweet earthy flavor, mixed with woodsmoke comes through as I move towards the last third of the cigar.

~Counting Crows - rain king
~Captain Beefheart and the Magicians - call on me

Once the sugar wore off the flavor of the cigar was much more readily offered, it was like puffing on a fire built out of sugarcane and vanilla beans.

~Jimi Hendrix - hear my train a comin
~Beatles - michelle
~Fugazi - arpeggiator
~Black Sabbath - laguna sunrise

Towards the end it's starting to sway off standard flavors, perhaps getting too hot? Definitely tangier with more tobacco overtones. Not much sweet flavor left (good), what's left is mostly tobacco a bit of 'sweet coffee'.

med_gallery_5157_232_20907.jpg

~Dido - do you have a little time
~Madeline Peyroux - walkin after midnight

By 'nub time' this cigar tasted like most mild cigars. The smoke still smells like a whore's bedroom though (not too bad, very sweet though), excellent burn, no touchups. could do with less / no sugar on the tip. Hints of that ammonia type sharpness make me quit this smoke two puffs too early, all in all not horrible but I'd rather leave this one alone if I had a choice.

Small break to refill coffee and raisins

CAO 'Eileens Dream' corona

Pre light inspection: sweet tip, sweeter? stiffer draw, more vanilla scent over heady 'pipe tobacco'. The draw was great, the wrapper was a tad spongy, though this stick did not lack filler. Coffee made an excellent companion throughout.

gallery_5157_232_26722.jpg

P/M cond: 4/5 lightheaded, slight headache at base of skull

~Tarsis - toxication
~Massive Attack - black milk
~Alice in Chains - rooser (live)

first draws very creamy, vanilla and.. hard to tell with all the sugar. Less smoke than robusto for sure.

~Iced Earth - electric funeral
~Cyprus Hill, insane in the brain

Much more vanilla than the robusto. reminescant of french vanilla creamer. Nice ash, good draw, not much else going on.

gallery_5157_232_21668.jpg

~Bo Diddly - she's allright
~Nine Inch Nails - something i can never have
~link wray - batman theme
~NAS - not going back

Still alot of vanilla cream as i break into that second 3rd. The headache is picking up, and I started sweating. Must be the rat poison they flavor these with! :D

med_gallery_5157_232_31286.jpg

~Huey Smith - everybody's whalin'
~The Orb - us and them

Sugar's starting to wear off, not much happening except a little more tobacco flavor, still quite a bit of vanilla cream light smoke, pure white ash

~clinic - T.K.
~Jerry Lee Lewis - over the rainbow

Light woodiness described earlier in robusto coming through a bit, perhaps this is the flavor of the tobacco finally working it's way through the sugar and vanilla?

~Underworld - sola system
~Metallica - harvester of sorrow

The smoke picks up quite a bit in the last third, along with my acheing head, must prevail however.
Flavors have changed from 'vanilla milkshake' to a rounded woody flavor, hints of hickory and something else.. kind of 'buttery'.

~Mr Bungle - carousel
~Infected Mushroom - live at japan

Very tangy at the end with hints of strawberry, wierd that this thing turned tart when it got hot right at the end there smoke smelled consistantly 'vanilla' throughout. Pretty boring cigar all in all, might go well with chocolate ice cream, the coffee certainly helped.

gallery_5157_232_30964.jpg

~Hallucinogen - LSD
~Jesus and Mary Chain - something I can't have

CAO 'Eileens Dream' petit corona

Pre light inspection: not as sweet of a sugar coating as the corona, more of a earthy flavor, pre light draw has very good flow, filler packed well, wrapper same as others but a little darker then the robusto. somewhat spongy firmness as with the first two.

gallery_5157_232_8877.jpg

P/M comd - 4/5 headache slightly increased, along with a slight buzz, I figure these should equal out.

From the get go a very different flavor than the others, much more flavor of woodsmoke and round creamy overtone. Quite pleasant post-light draw

~David Grey - lovers
~Killdozer - pig foot and beer

first 5th, not too bad. Quite a bit less 'froof' than the first two, and a bit more flavor as well. The sugar is still distracting, but not overwhelmingly so. Headache going away too

~Robin Williams - scotsman and golf - and a thunderstorm rolling up from the south, wind starting

to kick up a bit
~Sarah McLaughlin - black dove

ALOT more smoke than the corona, surprisingly tastier than too. I'm thinking the woody flavors are picking up a bit too, along with a genuine tobacco flavor that was pretty much absent until now.

gallery_5157_232_13576.jpg

~Chuck Berry - around and around
~Matchbox 20 - time after time

Tobacco flavor still present along with sugar and woody scents, slightly stronger. Voluminous smoke and the scent of fresh mown grass

Just got 'The Burbs' on netflix, popped it in. No more songs!

similar woody flavors, grass scent seems to have passed. Extremely consistent smoke, creamy, quite tasty (without the sugar). Excellent burn line, platinum ash.

gallery_5157_232_51937.jpg

Carrie Fischer looks pretty good in this movie, along with Wendy Schaal!

Creamy smoke, burned cool until the nub. towards the end there was a very prevalent flavor of clove.

med_gallery_5157_232_13900.jpg

Right about the time walter get's sacrificed in a ritual for Baelzebub I call this prick ashed. All in all this was a pretty nice smoke if you can get over the sugarey coating and sweet scent. It burned relatively cool for the smaller ring gague, very creamy and voluminous smoke. It definitely had the most flavor out of all of them , though I'd trade it for a maduro anyday.

gallery_5157_232_46533.jpg

No break, let's finish this!

CAO 'Eileens Dream' tubo

Pre light inspection: Wrapper not as smooth, veiny appearance, somewhat poorer construction than the others. very sugared tip, perhaps to offset the shittiness of the smoke? Who knows? Only one way to find out huh? Let's fire this bastard up!

gallery_5157_232_25722.jpg

m/p cond: 5/5, headache has faded, buzz maintaining at 'slight'

Lit easily, the texture is somewhat sticky, assuming it's from the sugar. Aftertaste of tobacco. The smoke is somewhat thick right from the start. definite overtones of woodsmoke, very sweet flavor with a hint of nuttyness, perhaps roasted?

Good flavor of tobacco with annoyingly sweet taste of the sugared wrapper as I work into the second third. Ash is dark where burned cooler, and platinum when hot, made an interesting texture as I puffed away.

gallery_5157_232_7884.jpg

There's a strong scent of peaches, this would go well with desert.

Damn, Carrie Fischer got some goods, and this is years after Star Wars!

Heavy exhalation of chocolate and nuts, creamy with a hint of citrus, the peaches have succumbed to a chocolatey nutty flavor. I feel like I'm smoking a parfait.

As I kill this prick I get scents of earth, coffee and roasted nuts but sweeter, touches of woodsmoke as well. I puffed this thing like a roach for just a few more. I'm not one to do these things half assed.

med_gallery_5157_232_12863.jpg

This smoke wasn't horrible, it was way too sweet from the get go but there were alot of flavors to it. Almost chaotic in it's changes. The Petit Corona was definitely the best of the bunch, but this one wasn't bad either

gallery_5157_232_15157.jpg

All in all these smokes weren't horrid, I could do with alot less sugar though. Definitely alot of flavors in these smokes. They were well constructed and burned perfectly. Not bad, though I'd rather stick with the traditional cigars.

Last but not least:

Carrie Fisher lookin pretty good, tho this is no gold bikini

med_gallery_5157_232_9171.jpg

and lookit the schlub this chicks with, crazy huh?

One last note, this is my first review, some of my descriptors might not be 'right' let me know if there's something I can improve on.

Excellent reviews, crazy but excellent...a good message but I can't say the same about the messenger. It looks like something else
was smoked in between but not reviewed.

Well done. You were descriptive and honest with a heavy conviction to the project at hand. The descriptions you gave are intricate and quite kind. Well done

PS- I didn't think anyone else listened to MC Frontalot. I like MC Chris better myself

I'll tell ya what, those smokes weren't horrible. I definitely have little interest in smoking them on a voluntary basis, but I'll huff a flavored smoke in the name of science as long as it doesn't have a picture of some cowboy on the front and some bent-ass oily sticks that looked like they are good candidates for a picture on www.ratemypoo.com (NSFW!)
It's for science I suppose.

Maybe next time I'll review a *real* cigar =)

Cheers fellas, thanks for the opportunity Tony, I had a good time doing the review!

Cheers,
Rob
