So, just wondering, a) have you ever arrived at a store after they closed when you had some important shopping to do, and b) what was your reaction?

I'll start:

a) yes

b) something along the lines of "dammit! why did I wait so long" or "I shoulda called ahead and made sure they were still open."

Yeah there were times when I knocked on the glass and tried to get them to open up, but I couldn't hold it against them for not opening up.

Unfortunately I think Oprah has let her fame get to her head.

..and don't get me started about sociopathic behavior in celebrities!

Actually, she arrived 15 minutes after the store closed, and is making a big stink about the fact that she and her entourage were not allowed in.

I reallize this is the forum and there are alot of things posted "off topic" but that's not why I made my statement. Lumby as does anyone else has the right to post whatever he wants, but his last few posts in the lobby have been of this nature. That is what bothers me about it.

I have no personal issues with him, though we certainly disagree on some major issues. But I hold no hard feelings toward him for any reason so relax my jingly brother and put your sign down. ;)

Ya mean like this thread Jim where lumpy deletes his posts so he can't be held accountable for the foul nonsense he spewed?

Or maybe this one where he champions the use of antifreeze (low toxicity antifreeze of course) in humidors to keep the humidity constant and then gets all moist and petulant when guys tell him it's ridiculous?

Point taken. But after over 2,000 posts, surely he has contributed something other than those obviously bad examples of cigar discussion contribution. ???

Anyway, to each his own. I rarely read the Lounge nonsense as it is. Except for this thread. And some of the KB threads. And an occasional post to welcome someone. Ah hell....

Feel free to sift through me posts there lumpkin... lot's of good stuff back there I'm bettin'. I'm pretty sure there aren't any where I'm wearing my ass for hat though sweety. My stock will only rise if you post up the old threads. Don't you wish you could say that?
