CP Fundraiser Thread

Throwing this out there as a warning to the members of Cigar Pass.

Kiltlad committed to a $50.00 ticket and never paid. Coincidentally, his last active was the day that the winners of the raffle's were announced. I sent a few PM's that went unanswered.

Jonathan (Souldog) was in touch with his brother in law who from what I understand, said he spoke with David about this and payment was supposed to be forthcoming.

I see that he was active as of yesterday, but no response, or payment.

I'm throwing this out there to let the community know, and ask that no one engage in any transactions out in the open, or behind the scenes until this is answered for.
 
Hey John, thanks for the heads up. Totally your call but maybe make this a seperate thread so more people read it?
 
Damn, I missed this whole thread and activity completely. Guess I need to start being more active.

Did the brother give Jon any reason to think the guy was out of pocket for legit reasons?

Kind of cloudy.

Said he might be sick, but did not elaborate as to whether it be a cold, or hospital sick. Then the story was that the BIL talked to David and he was sending payment (couple of times I think), but no payment almost two months later.
 
Someone close to David did make this payment on his behalf and he never did reply to any of the inquiries. He did just yesterday after I made contact one more time when I found out he was signing back on.

I should have updated to let everyone know the debt was square since around July, but Kiltlad himself did not make this payment, and was still MIA with no explanations as of then.
