My newest niece Hadley Brooks was born last Friday to a packed house. Hadley has TWO older sisters and nine cousins! She is loved, Mom & Dad (my Brother) are doing well and we are ALL exhausted! Not only did Santa deliver some great Secret Santa gifts and a new niece, but ultra low rates are here. (If you have an FHA loan with a rate 6% and above you need to call me NOW.)

On with the business at hand:

You may launch your Cheese & Cigar PIF anytime after Monday, anonymously of course. If you will NOT be at your pass addy next week please post to this thread and PM the correct e-mail so I can coordinate. The CD will be going out this next week as well. Thanks for all of your patience and understanding during this pass. I've had fun so far and I look forward to the next step ... the Cheesy Reviews and the reveal.

I will be out of town from Sunday through next Saturday, so whoever has me, please wait until the following week to send mine.

Congrats Jeff - what a cutie!

I'm looking forward to trying some delicious rotten milk!

That's a beautiful addition to the family. Congrats.

On with the cheese!!!

Brian

Congrats Jeff.

When you gonna jump in the fray yourself? You do know how to do that don't ya'??

Maybe we should wait until after Christmas to ship....otherwise the cheeses would be in the mail for an awfully long time.

Sweet! I'll eat the cheese I bought tonight as a horsdover....err, horsduver......err, hors d'oeuvres!

Makes sense. My only problem is I'll be out of town until after New Years. Leaving for Florida on the 26th. Early morning flight. I was planning on shipping before Christmas with a freeze pack in the box.

OK, we should be flexable! In the spirit of a no stress holiday season, the cheese can be sent anytime between Monday the 22nd and January 5th. I think this should cover all bases. enjoy your Holiday with Family & Friends. Reviews will however be due by end of the day January 20th - no exceptions (that includes ME). Reveal of PIFers is January 21. ;)

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Bruthas! and to your wonderful Families! Thank you for the well wishes and one HECK of a pass (so far)! :D

Just got back to work and opened my cheese from the store I ordered. It must have sat on my desk since Friday, icepack is all melted and cheese is pretty much toast. Overnight my arse, I ordered it on 12/18 and they didn't ship it until 12/23. I'm just a little PO'd at this point.

I'm dealing with the company at this time, but once it's resolved, I'll get it out to my cheesy brother!

I've had the same issue twice. One was ordered several weeks ago. It came, and we just happened to get a miserably horrible storm of cold ice-misty sleety rainny BLEH for 12 hours. Well, I wasn't home to collect the package. It sat out and got completely ruined by the elements

I ordered again. I made the huge mistake of ordering it right before the holidays. It took nearly a week (thanks to the weekend + holidays) to get it here. Guess what? We had record highs right after Christmas - it was like 70 degrees here! Ruined again. Was pretty much spoiled and smelled really "off".

I'm placing another order AFTER NEW YEARS, ON A SUNDAY so I get it reasonably fast.

That sucks.

I chose to mail my cheesy brother the sticks first. Then I'm going to overnight the cheese straight to his addy, so that it doesn't have to make a pit stop at my house just to get packed up and shipped again.

I hope that it works out.
