I was just hit with an idea I want to try. Since I am leaving sunny Okinawa next month, I come up with the thought "What if I had a pass that left my current address, and returned to me at my new place?" So, that's what this will be, a pass that will PCS with me. The catch - lika ll true military moves, I am 4 weeks from leaving and still have no orders or RIP. I have no address at my gaining base either. But, I will make this work. I'm looking for 10-15 volunteers. Preference will be given to current and former brothers/sisters-in-arms (as you know the pain I am dealing with). I plan to mail out the pass on or about the first week of Dec. If I still do not have a return address at that time, then I intend to forward my address to the last person in the pass as soon as I have one, or get where I am going. I'll post a pass line up soon, but I am planning on a $5-10 range for the sticks. Number in equals number out, no extras. Value for value. Nothing fancy. More to come.

ISOMs will be de-banded and tube-less. Upon request I will snail out the band and/or tube to people who take the ISOMs I put in the initial list.

Sure count me in for the Permanent Change of Station (PCS) Pass.

Always amused me that PCS orders really aren't so "permanent"...at least until they are in the form of retirement orders. Always thought they should be called NCS orders, Next Change of Station. ;)

Hope you get the orders you want!

Count me in. Sounds like a nice price range for some above average smokes to pass.

Not a member of the armed services but I would still love to be involved if at all possible.

Thanks

CYG

Sounds like fun. I'll play.... I'm ex-Army (67-Victor).....if that helps.

Wonder where you'll end up? With any luck it will be your #1 dreamsheet spot!

Joe

If its not to late, please count me in on this bad boy. If it helps, I am Ex-Army Recon aka 19-Delta. Lucky me, I'm a Disabled Veteran too.

My old unit was HHC 3-66, 4th ID...Fort Hood, Texas. :D

Mr Peat strikes again. :D

I'll play if there is still room.

I'm in if there is room still.

Only thing is I'll be in Mexico from Jan2-15 then Seattle (BOAT SHOW!!) from the 15-22nd.

If that's too busy then I'll catch ya the next time!

I'm in Treamayne, and if you need someone for the follow on address just let me know.

I'll play too Treamayne, if there is room. As you know I am the official bordering house for C-130 trainees; my buddies came down again a week ago with more of em in tow.

I have never seen so much alcohol consumed by so few people. Also from what they can remember they were glad about meeting you last time you were in town.

I have never served so of course if there is room AFTER all military i'll be glad to participate.

I just love how these guys come out from nowhere and expect to be in a pass

It's no fault of this guys because he doesn't know any better. I suggest you stick around and get to know the members of the board. Participate in threads and let folks get to know you before you expect someone to trust you with a box full of cigars.

I think two or three months with a couple hundred posts is average before asking to be part of a pass.

We been burnt way to many times to trust people we don't know.

Sorry to jack your brother. ;)
