These just came into my local B + M. It is very apparent from looking at the band that they were trying to get the cuban Cohiba look. After removing the cigar from the cello I could smell a deep tobacco smell. The cigar had a dark chocolate wrapper that did have a lot of noticeable veins.

Pre-light draw was good with a rich tobacco taste. I toasted the foot and probably went over board on the draw. This cigar produces a huge amount of smoke with a excellent draw.

First third there was some peppery taste and the same with a exhale through the nostrils. It was not a over powering spice I found it very pleasant(a slightly less intense Pepin).

The second third continued to have just the right amount of spice and it started to get more of a creamy coffee type of flavor. This cigar has a light colored ash that was flaky(ash bomb after about a inch). The burn has been outstanding.

The final third I could still detect the spice but was now getting that deep tobacco flavor with hints of wood. I had this cigar with a nice large glass of ice tea.

This was about a 45 minute smoke that I really enjoyed. For $6.50 I grabbed a 5er and will re-visit them near the end of the summer.

Appearance 5 out of 10(veins make it a fairly ugly cigar)

Construction 8 out of 10(no hard or soft spots and draw and burn were very good)

Taste 9 out of 10(I really enjoyed the right amount of spice mixed with a deep tobacco flavor)

Overall 7.5 out of 10(would have been higher if not for the look of the cigar)

For the price this is a very good cigar that I will be smoking more of. There was another size Siglo IV that I will try next it looks like a fat robusto 5 X 54.
