I tried the dollar bill test and I did have to pull not real hard, but moderatley to get it to come loose. It didn't just slip right out but the humidor was not moving or anything as I tried to remove the bill. What kind of resistance means I have a good seal? I am a touch worried that maybe I am loosing humidity somehow, because I have been seasoning the humidor with distilled water for 3 days already, and I can't keep a steady RH for more than a day. without extra water.

It might take 2-3 weeks for your humidity to stabilize, it did on my two humis.

Try sticking a flashlight inside and turn off the lights. It's a little easier to notice any gaps and fix them that way.

This looks like a pretty good seal :)
