I have several glass top humidors and I find them to be quite nice. The seals are great. Of course you have to buy a better hygrometer and you can look through the glass to see the RH and temp without opening it.
I have one resting in my humi. My guy at my B&M said it's one of the only cigars by CAO he's really liked. I've never really been a CAO fan either, probably only the 5th cao I've bought in my life.
I have 3 tupperdors and 1 humidor. I use the silica based kitty litter to maintain a consist RH. It's worked better for me then all other forms of humidification. You should try that as I believe it works better for tupperdors.
Basically, I buy a lot of petites and and some very tasty american machine mades, which frees me up to buy and age a lot of singles.
But I am aging a box of Padron Corticos, Tatuaje Cazadores, and I have a box of El Rico Habano's from 2007.
