I got a box of 10 Camacho Corojos from cigarbid in the mail today. They're in these tubes...can I just keep some in their tubes for awhile, or would it be best to place them into a humidor. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated from anyone.

I had an Oliva Master Blends 3 a little earlier that had been stored for about 5 months. I tried another before that was really amazing and this one had hardly any of the flavors and seemed to have some burn problems...it seems like Olivas may require a higher humidity than most cigars.

Very true. I was surprised to see a thread about this, as I would definitely consider it to be a touchy subject.

Have you all found the salt test to work? Mine doesn't really work. when I do it, I wait until reaches a reading that stays the same for an hour or more and then take that to mean that I'm through with the salt test. But then in the humidor, one that read 5above 75 will not give the correct...
