NEWBIE WAR 2009!

The first round of bombs are landing and the newbies have some good stuff.
They telegraphed this one though.

I noticed them checking on my profile so I figured I was on the hit list.
I was able to fortify my position and not too much damage was done.

Well maybe just a little…

I took two hits today, one from some accounting dweeb in Hanover MA and one from a turncoat POS merc, Putz Mulligan. Whats up with that? Anyhow, funny thing is its 3 maybe 4 miles from Hanover MA to Pembroke. Coincidence? Damned fine hits, fellas. There was one I've not seen before in some flowery, colorful glass tubo that my wife snatched, "oh, thats mine!" Not to worry though, I'll get the cigar eventually. Again, thanks fellas - mighty fine hit.

Hanover is a nice little town have passed through from time to time. Bruce thank you for helping to keep CP a fine community. LOL at the wife snatching the tubo :laugh:

Thats not why we BOMB. this war just like other wars are meant for appreciation for the FOGs. It is meant in fun and with no expectation or retaliation. Remember when and if you bomb, bomb for the right reason.

I agree this is for saying thank you to the people who have devoted a lot of time and effort to keep CP the best cigar board period. It is also a way to have some good hearted fun and fellowship. I have not been here a long time but believe me when I say these guys do a ton of stuff behind the scene. They keep this a safe place and provide all of us a wealth of information.

I thought I knew a lot about cigars when I got here but I was wrong. The knowledge I have gained from CP has turned my hobby in to a much more enjoyable experience. I for one would not have half the sticks I do now except from fine BOTL's here. This is the only board I post on as I have not found a reason to go to another. I have seen here some of the most kind and selfless acts from these FOG's.

Again newbs have some fun with this but remember it is a way to say thanks to all of these people for all they have done here. Now move on and ruffle some FOG feathers. :thumbs:

As I already told John, I probably will not be able to attempt anything on this for a bit - we have house guests arriving and the Wifely Unit© is in a tizzy about getting crap done. My 'honey-do' list is longer than my arm!! And to make matters worse - we thought they were arriving Saturday Night... Nope! I just looked at their itenerary and it's TONIGHT!!

Think I should tell the Wifely Unit©?
