SLR A from ABR 2003...delish!! I always will thank Bill for introducing me to this fine cigar!

Perdomo Reserve Oscuro Robusto this morning.
Benchmade Robusto this afternoon.
Cubao Maduro No. 4 this evening.

Just smoked a Padron 1926 #6 Maduro that was soooo good. I don't know why I don't smoke more Padron on a regular basis...they never disappoint.

This weekend...

H. Upmann Signature Super Corona (Tubo)
Trinidad Funadadore (OUR ABR 08)
Cruzado Marela
Cruzado Elita
Cruzado Domenico

I smoked a Padron 1926 #2 maduro last night in the pool. Unknown age on it but it could have been 1 to 3 years old. LOL!!! I hadn't used the cigar bands I bought until the move. Oh well...to late to correct the past mistakes but no more blunders like that from here on out.

Started today with a CAO Brazalia Gol while mowing,I then had a San Cristobal La Punta while grilling dinner, and I think a RP Decade is on deck for later tonight.

Last night it was a Padron 2000. The first puffs were very harsh, bitter and far from the norm. After letting it settle for a bit the familiar Padron profile resumed and it was a very satisfying cigar. I think my cigars may be under-humidified since I've been finding a bitter profile in several of them that wasn't there before.

I smoked a fantastic Johnny-O Corona Gorda, it was lovely until about an inch to go, it just dropped off the face of the earth! :(

I find I have this taste/issue with over-humidified cigars not under-humidified cigars. Salt test the hygrometers my friend, good look with fixing the issue!

I did and discovered my humidore was sitting at about 64%, but at times as low as 60%. My hygrometer is 2% optimistic. I have two humidores but only one which I access regularly for my daily smokes and it has been producing some initially bitter cigars.

Last night pulled out a Johnny-O robusto to walk the dogs, but for some reason, no smoke was getting to me. I kept the lighter on the cherry thinking it needed a little push, but nothing. Chucked it in the ashtray rather than fight with it. Got another one just because I had already gotten a hint of the taste. Okay this one is smoking well enough to walk, but had to fight a crooked burn. It evened itself out about the last inch.

I was in the midst of posting this and a wave of nic sic came over me

and I mean quick! Tore off the glasses, shut the computer down, wobbled in the house with a layer of cold sweat on my belly and went for the shower!

I'm still cracking up thinking about it.

Tonight, a RASS from '07 and things are back on track!

Not smoking as much these days Dave??? :sign:

I had an Alec Bradley MAXX while fishing with my brothers-in-law. Pretty tasty cigar really.

I had a Vegueros Seoane on the ride into work this morning. Very good! I wish I could find these somewhere as I am out.

Last night I smoked a Tatuaje Miami Reserva J21 (Robusto) while watching The Hunt for Red October. Great movie. However, I was not impressed by the cigar. Put it down earlier than I woulnd normally do. Looking foward to sitting down with a nice cigar tonight as I watch my Lakers trounce the Celtics in Game & of the NBA Finals. Go Lakers!
