After reading this thread, I'm afraid to read the other war threads. I fear the bomb I dropped will be met with some serious repercussions.

I have read through some of those threads and don't know if they can handle.

If this was about repercussions than you are bombing for the wrong reasons. From my my limited experience the point of bombing should be for fun, to show appreciation or just out of the generosity of your heart, not be to have return fire, it should not be an expectation and typically when it occurs it is not to the person who sent out the bomb to begin with. There are exceptions to this but from the sounds of it, some of you might be looking to get the FOG's to bomb you back, but hey maybe I am reading into this wrong.

yeah you are. I have been bombed too many times by FOGs here already and have no more Humi space anyways. This entire thread is FOGs talking sheet about us and our weak attempt of a blizzard.

He didn't jump on you, he was just offering up some sage advice to you guys during this "event" just like it was offered up to us when we did this. Just make sure your intentions are for the right reason. Step back and think about who you're bombing, and why you are bombing them. That's all.

Trust me when I tell you this, Josh is on the "up and up" and is only looking out for each of you. He's as good as it gets around here in my opinion, and he's not trying to call any one of you out.

And yes the older members here are going to talk shit on you when you do these types of things. It's kinda the whole point. Don't believe me, read through either of the last two newbie wars.

I think too many people think we did this for reasons we did not. Just a newbies way of Passing forward the good will we've received from some of the best and knowledgeable guys on CP. It's meant as a sincere THANK YOU and nothing more. I can't speak for others, but I do not anticipate, desire, or am asking for anything in return (except the guy I bomb smiling and enjoying my sticks I sent to him.

I think everyone gets caught up in talking smack. The Fog's will give us smack, and in return we will try to talk smack back. I think this is all in good fun.

I wouldn't have half of the cigars in my humidors if it wasn't for CP and the FOGs here. I wouldn't have near the quality of cigars in my humidors as I do, if it wasn't for the FOGs here.

I honestly have to say this, I probably would not be growing into a better rounded person today, if it wasn't for CP and the lessons learned here. I have learned more here about friendship, honor, and your word. I have taken deeper looks into my life and family, since I joined CP, for that, there isn't any amount of cigars I could be given to match that. I couldn't even say this before CP and the Friends I have here.

So, for me and I also think for everyone else, I hope, it wasn't done to get bombed by FOGs but to show appreciation for everything CP has done for me in this short time.

Now enough of that, let the fun continue.....

Seriously, CP rocks. I've had way more fun than I'm probably supposed to, and this place has rapidly become a center of gravity for me. A good familiar place to hang my hat and count the days until I'm home for R&R (136 hours, 58 miuntes, 20 seconds...give or take a few days). I learn new stuff everyday.

As far as this "skirmish" goes....PFFFT. these old dodgers don't really want us to bring the pain. They tire easily and quickly, and would have to sit and rest, while we have the advantage of speed, youth and vitality. Pay no mind to their hollow threats. This will be the Mother of all Blizzards! One of them will type "UNCLE" into this thread, and we'll call it good. :laugh:
