Saw this over on Smokers Forums:

Over the past 12 years, Alfred Dunhill has purchased pipe tobacco from a specialist company in Ireland named Murray’s for sale through our Jermyn Street store. We were recently notified that Murray’s has been sold and as a result, the new owners have taken the decision to discontinue the production and sale of all specific blends unique to Alfred Dunhill. Knowing that these blends will no longer be available, has caused us to carefully reflect upon our position in relation to the sale of pipe tobacco altogether.

As a result, we have taken the decision to discontinue the sale of pipe tobacco with immediate effect.

No more Nightcap? NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I'm sure there's still plenty in the pipeline, so hie thee to your local B&M, online retailer, etc.

Besides, I thought that Dunhill had long ago transferred their manufacturing to Orlik's in Germany, and that the
Murray blends hadn't been available for some time. ???

Yeah that's what's throwing people, but apparently they did say they were cutting out 3 of the bulks a few months ago completely (NC included), and there seems to be a big shortage of stock in the usual stores - still, being the weekend, getting the full story isn't gonna happen.

Hopefully the speculation that the letter was assuming the question was solely on their B&M store, not in international distribution. I only found nightcap in stock in a handful of places, and bulk only in one, and being the weekend I'm sure the stock levels are off on many. Hopefully my 2 lb order will get filled, and even if this turns out to be more mis-understanding I'll still be ahead of the game :)

I hope you get that filled too, Rob. I stocked up on 3 Year Matured Va. when it went on sale at Smoker's Haven, and I'd squirreled away 10 tins of the same before that.
Now I'm thinking I'd better look for a stash of Aperitif, since I tried that a while back and really liked it.

I don't know if they would cut the blend completely. Pipe tobacco manufacturers have been known to cut sales to the USA only like the Escudo one from a Danish tobacco manufacturer. Time will tell and I know several places where I will be able to get some tins at for now.

Well, couldn't find Aperitif in bulk :( , but found a site with REALLY good prices on the tinned version of it and many other Dunhill blends. RYO. Blends other than just Dunhill as well.

I did manage to get 3 pounds of it. Thinking I may have to try for more - the usual places are still out...

The RYO site cancelled my order without explanation and has not answered emails as to their/his reason:
I'm guessing he didn't actually have it in stock and couldn't get it.

HOWEVER, this site appears to have a good inventory of Dunhill and other bulks.

Damn Rob, now I don't want to crack that tin you sent me. It's my last one :(
