Good Morning S / BOTL - 2013

Good morning all, the Killer Beans coffee is on and it's Christmas morning.  I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and hope that 2014 is a safe and prosperous one.  Enjoy a cigar or two as well a couple of adult beverages.  One last thing, please say a prayer for our proud men and women in the military that can't be home this Christmas, may they all be home soon.......
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Thursday which means that we'll be at Hudson Valley Cigars / Schlesinger's Cigar Bar as usual.  We had a great day yesterday celebrating Christmas, plenty of food, cheer and good tidings for all.  Hope everyone has a good day and takes a break to smoke a favorite or two or....... :)  :thumbs:  :cool:
 
Good day all, been a long day already and I'm sure that it's going to continue be an interesting one.  Started off with a pot of Killer Beans around 0420 and it's still kickin'.  There's plenty of hockey this weekend as well as the final regular season for the NFL.  Hopefully the Eagles beat the Cowboys in Texas this Sunday and advance to the playoff rounds.  Enjoy the last weekend of 2013 everyone with a couple of your favorites throughout it........ :)  :thumbs:  :cool:  
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's looking like we're gonna have a rainy Sunday here in the Hudson Valley.   Beth is planning a nice chicken dinner and I'm hoping for an Eagles win over the Cowboys tonight.   Winner will be the NFC East champ and the looser will be playing golf next week.  Hope everyone has a good day and enjoys....... :)  :thumbs:  :cool:
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's Monday morning already.  A big congrats to the Eagles for making it into the playoffs beating the Cowboys 24 - 22.  Both teams played hard and it showed it.  There were some other great games throughout the day and congrats to those that made it in as well.  Have a great day all and enjoy....... :)  :thumbs:  :cool:

Good morning all, the coffee is on and 2014 is starting off with a bang.  The East Coast will be getting hit with blizzard conditions this evening and throughout the night.  I have a good feeling there will be no work tomorrow as the weather guessers are calling for 8 to 10 inches of snow and blowing winds as well:

We received the snow (or at least the beginning of it) last night.  Up at 5:00 am to clean the driveway.  1st working day of 1014 shaping up to be a long one!  :D

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Sunday morning.  Gary, I fall under the non-emergency personnel unless the shit hits the fan.  Well, now that my Philadelphia Eagles are out of the NFL Playoffs, bring on the 2014 NASCAR season followed up by the NY Yankees and the MLB.  Hope everyone has a good day and enjoys it as well....... :)  :thumbs:  :cool:
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Monday the 6th of January which means that the holiday season is officially over.  We had a great Christmas and New Years and here's hoping that the Spring gets here soon.  Heading down to see Jeremy this weekend as his last Radiation treatment is the 8th.  I talked with him this past weekend and he said he's doing great and the doctors are very pleased with his recovery.  I'll update you guys of his status once I get home, I do know that he'll remain at Walter Reed for a month or two for observation and testing.  Have a great week everyone and I hope you all stay warm and enjoy....... :)  :thumbs:  :cool:

I got called in at 0130 due to the weather.  We had 6 semi trucks jackknife on the interstate in Illinois blocking the traffic.  We had about 300 stranded motorists, so they called up the National Guard.  I do all the logistics for domestic operations, so my phone rang at 0100.....interesting start to the day.
 
Needless to say....much coffee is flowing......and shortly, so will traffic!
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's pretty cold out with temps at 7 degrees and wind chills at -22.  Congrats to Florida State for winning last night even though I was pulling for Auburn.  I hope everyone stays warm today and don't forget that frostbite can happen to anyone...... :thumbs:

Good morning all, the Friday morning coffee is on and it's snowing out.  We had an unexpected blast of the white stuff so of course we had to do an emergency weather conference call.  West Point is "Code Red" until 0900 (9am) so they can clean the roads and parking lots before everyone comes into work.  Heading down the highway after lunch to spend the weekend with Jeremy and his wife Christen, it'll be nice to see them and spend some quality time as always.  Enjoy the weekend everyone and be safe....... :)  :thumbs:  :cool:
 
Good morning all, had a great weekend seeing my son and his wife as well as a number of old friends between Newark, DE and South Philly, PA.  Smoke a couple of tasty stogies with Jeremy and hung out at his house for a while both Saturday and Sunday.  Yesterday, I drove up to South Philly where they had a memorial service at Old Saint Mary's for Edward "Babe" Heffron:
