Starting My Single Malt Collection

I haven't done a review of Cragganmore yet as it's number hasn't come up. I thought you were going to get a Laphroaig 15 after the Lagavulin.

Thats a really nice Scotch IMHO.

First tried it at the Big Smoke here in Vegas 5 years ago. After quite a few cocktails that night, I tried the Laphroig. Outstanding! All I could talk about that night after I got home. Wife  surpised me with a bottle for Christmas that year and it remains one of my favorites.

I will have to dig out my Scotch tasting chart I did in Scotland a few years ago. They gave me some peaty Scotch that was all up in your face giving a beat down. I will find it either today or tomorrow.

Definitely add Knappogue Castle 1951 to that list. Its definitely worth the $700 for a bottle.

On the inexpensive side, I absolutely love Knappogue Castle 1994.

I think he is collecting Scotch and not single malt Irish
