Howdy all,
I'm finally coming home from the desert for a few weeks over Christmas, and would love to meet up with some of you. Anyone in the Tyler/Longview area? Where are the good places to go look for sticks and enjoy them? Ideas? Suggestions?

I may be coming Through Longview--- May is the Operative word. Anyway , Dallas is the better choice for sticks. At Least that was my solution during the Summer.

Well, I have never been to any B&M's in Tyler. Though I do go to the ones in Dallas from time to time. Good one to meet at in Plano, and Arlington. Or I might be able to go to tyler. It really just depends on what day this happens to be on. I am off on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. So any of those should work for me. Would love to meet up with you though.

Edit to add: You guys play cards? I will be taking a couple trips to the Winstar up in Thackerville, not 30-45 min from DFW. The casino has a smoking lounge, if you guys were interested. :whistling:

Right on, man! Now we're talking! I'll have a better idea of my schedule/plans, etc. once I actually get feet dry in Tyler. For obvious reasons, my first couple days are going to be spent "catching up" with my wife...but how about something tentative the week following Christmas and before New Years? Lemme know.

Oh, yeah...you work in a shop...I'll make my way to your place and say howdy/spend some money! :laugh:

It is a little late, but there is a cigar and burbon tasting event tonight in Shreveport at MoJo's on Texas Avenue in downtown. It cost $40.00, but you get a gift bag and there are supposed to be several cigar reps there. The last one I went to was well worth the admission.

There are two pretty good places in Shreveport to buy cigars. One is M A's in Shreve City off Barksdale Blvd and the other is the Tobacco House at 4422 Youree Drive.

If by any chance you make it to Shreveport tonight I have a gray/redish goatee, grey hair and wear glasses. My wife will be with me and she has the prettiest smile in the world. We have pictures somewhere on here from the last one we went to. They should be in the gallery.
