What kind of car do you drive? Some of you may have more than one car but list your "daily driver" first and any others. If they're up on blocks, you can count those BUT you must use that as a qualifier.

Okay here goes:
Daily driver: 1987 Buick Park Avenue
Other cars that I have registered: 1979 BMW 733i & 1986 Jaguar XJ6

Project car: 1987 Jaguar XJ6 (runs but needs paint, not registered)
Up on blocks :p : 1986 Jaguar XJ6 (parts car)

Nissan Xterra.... I am trying to justify buying a Ford Excursion. (don't think it's going to happen)

Not that any of you need to do this but the mileage I have on my cars is as follows:
Buick Park Avenue: 287,000
BMW 733i: 220,000
Jaguar XJ6: 175,000

The '87 Jag only has 102,000 so I gotta sell that one when I get it done, mileage is way too low for me :p

I can't remember the last time I had a car with less than 100K :0

My everyday vehicle is a 1992 Jeep Wrangler that I bought brand new in Germany and have approximately 136,000 miles on it. I have a 4" lift kit on it now with 33" tires that match up just right. Last fall, I bought a 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac (Half truck / Half SUV) which I plan on keeping forever just like the Jeep till the tires fall off it...... :D  :p  :D

:D Charlie was into SUV's BEFORE they became the big fad

Way to go stogieman, you're a trend setter :p

1994 Nissan Pick-up.

King cab, SE package, 4x4.

Odometer reads 67,340..... but that's only because it broke about 2 years ago. Replaced the sending unit, twice. Guy at the transmission shop said all the diagnostics checked out fine.

So I figured... who really needs to know how fast they are going or how far it is to get there. :sign:

2001 Nissan XTerra with about 52,200 miles. That one is the 'family' vehicle which the wife drives.

2001 Dodge 1500 LWB Ext Cab 4x4....5.9 L V8 (360)...76K...Burns plenty of gas to support the economy!!!

Here's what I have

Everyday driver supplied by the state:
2003 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor

My own:
2001 Daewoo Leganza
1969 VW Karman Ghia
2000 VW Jetta

I would like to get the Ford Explorer Sport trac, wife wants a Mini Cooper.

1971 Lemans Sport, 455 +.040 V8, Turbo 400, 4:10 rear. 8-10mpg, 46,000 but it used to be a race care so it is used and abused.

1993 Pontiac Grand Am, 3.1L V6, 26.5 mpg (Slick 50 baby!), 171,000 daily driver

1997 Saturn SW1, 1.9L I4, 37mpg, 97,000 daily driver

I run them until I can't fix them any more.

Previous was a 1976 Frirebird with 267,00, engine ran great but rust beat out my repair skills.

We have a 2000 Ford Contour (with the v6 this thing flies)

We also just bought a Taurus. I wanted to get the Ford Escape Hybrid, but we needed the new car this year and the Escape Hybrid won't be available in the Midwest until next year.

I always buy Ford cars (some day I will inlcude Jaguar, Volvo, and Mazda amongst those I've bought). Since my dad worked for Ford, I get a discount on new cars (comes to about the dealers cost).

2003 Buick Century and.......

aa 1997 Ford Aspire!! :0  :0 :0

If you get the Excursion get the articulated one for getting around corners :p

Drive an 03 Tacoma extended cab. Bought it this spring. It was a leftover.

In the previous 18 years I drove 2 Ford Rangers a total of 660,000 miles. I drive 'em till the oil change is more than the book value.

My everyday is a 1999 Ranger

My wife drives a 1999 Grand Am

Bill

Mine : 1998 Chevy Z71

Weekend : 1997 Jeep Wrangler

Fiance : 2000 Toyota Camry

1993 Ford Taurus SHO 120,000 miles
currently needs a steering rack and to fix an oil leak (timing cover)

When this thing eventually dies or I get sick of it I'll most likely get a Lincoln LS

Mine: 1985 Saab 900 Turbo, 308,000 miles on the original block, burns no oil, gets 26-34 mpg, eats small BMW's for breakfast, Intrax springs, Bilsteins, handles like it's on rails, surprises the hell out of newer cars (heehee).

Hers: 1999 Subaru Outback wagon; she just had to have 4WD.
Hers: 1989 25th Anniversary Mustang GT 5.0 convertible, 78000 original miles. Her present to herself for graduating nursing school. Lousy gas mileage, but it flies!!

Ours: Currently on loan to son, 1992 Saab 900 S, big mistake, clear title was a bureaucratic error, should have had a salvage title. Money pit.

Donating this year (still trying to find the best org): 1993 Toyota Camry LE 140K
Daily dream car driver: 1999 Toyota Solara MT 77K :D

Cheers,
Dixie

I drove a 1999 Honda Prelude up until yesterday afternoon... when I traded it in. Now I drive a 2005 BMW 325i.

Next car won't be until I'm married. Then its just buying cars for HER. :D
