Hey Guys,

We just put together a weekly NFL picks pool on our website. It's free to enter, and the winner gets a sampler pack. We will be doing this every week for the rest of the NFL season so be sure to keep checking it out. In case of a tie, winner will be chosen at random.

I signed up, but can't submit or make picks?
 
I signed up also but I am having the same issues as modo22. I think that is a great idea should be a lot of fun. Also thanks a bunch thats awfully generous of you guys at stogie boys.
 
hey guys....try logging out and then logging back in, it should work for you then
 
I'm looking into the issues right now.... it must be sporadic because I just tested it successfully, but if three people are saying it, there must be an issue. Thanks for the patience, we will get the programming squared away with it!
 
Anyword? Would love to play, but now I am getting an error message as my log on was unsuccessful, but if I sign up again I am told the user name is already used?

It's telling me my login credentials are incorrect.

Weird. I signed up, made picks for week 7 and it said at the bottom my picks were submitted.

I suggest a way to blank everything out though so you can't "resubmit" once you successful done it. :)
 
I just signed up under another screenname and it allowed me to submit my picks, because my previous screenname and password says my credentials are incorrect. Maybe the screen names prior to the patch need to be erased and resubmited...... JUST AN IDEA
 
Thanks for all the comments guys....... we have been working on a few bugs with this but all the data has been recorded for the past week. We are going to be continuously upgrading the functionality and appearance of the contest page. Keep coming back to submit your picks each week!

I think that might be why people were initially having issues submitting the picks. We have a lot of backend security in place to try and combat the opportunity to submit multiple picks...
 
The contest page is fully functional, so be sure to get your picks for week 8 in. The week 7 winner led the way with 10 correct picks. Keep submitting your picks for the coming weeks, we have the Pepin 5 Star sampler as the prize again this week.

Not sure if he is a CPer, but the winner is Mike Mittentag

He only had one incorrect pick.....

It's pretty impressive, there are a lot of guys entering who would be making a nice living at a sports book.... hitting on 70% and up on their picks
 
I wish we could go back and see how we did. Any way to add that in?

I thought about doing one of those call in lines one time, where you "predict" the picks and offer your guaranteed winners and such. The more I researched it, the more expensive it got to get it all set up. It was fun trying to pick everything against the vegas lines though. The only issue I found was that you are either hot or you are not. lol. I haven't won, so obviously I'm on the not hot side of things right now lol.
