Received my order of Connie No. 9's today. Supposed to be a good smoke. I'll fire one up this weekend and see how they are. Anyone ever smoked one of these?

They're a great deal. If you like Villazon "robustos" (Punch, Hoyo, Etc.), you should like them. Better still if you can put a bunch of them down for a year.

I haven't had one in a few years, because I smoke less frequently these days, but there was a time when I always had some around. And enjoyed them. :)

I was recetnly gifted a few connies with a few years on them...and they really were quite tasty. I look forward to hearing what you think of them fresh.

I've smoked quite a few of the #9's. That's my fave of the brand. They're pretty decent fresh and much better with a year to 18 months on em. I always keep at least 4-5 bundles on hand. It's a reliable stick!

Me Too! Usually like at a year, fresh is just okay. Price is right especially if you smoke alot.

I'm down to just a few of the No. 9's. Sure is difficult letting these guys age! I have a lot of friends who like to smoke cigars once in a while, but are not serious cigar smokers by any means. These are EXCELLENT cigars to keep on hand for them. Everyone who has smoked a No. 9 has loved them, and at a dollar a pop, I love them too. :D

I'm going to get some more. What other Connies should I get?

I buy em 100 at a time now. Most say they smoke better with a few months or more. I find that a few weeks to make it to 65% is all mine need. I've tried many of the Connie line, but always come back to the #9M. Can't beat em.

I have 3 bundles that have been napping since the re-release in Oct.. I had actually forgotten about them until now, I might have to sacrifice one to the flame gods tonight.

How often do these come around? This sounds like a great fishing smoke, but I can't seem to find them anywhere...

EDIT

Sorry. I didn't realize there were multiple pages of these at JRs. I was just looking at the first page. Cripes, there are a lot of sizes...

I had been eyeballing these for awhile. Sounds like it is a descent smoke. I have to try some. Looking forward to what you have to say about them.

You might try the 16 as well. They are a decent size smoke for the money. Also, try the Connie DR's They are superior to the regular connies IMO. Construction is impressive for $1 on the DR's. I think I need to get another few bundles now that you mention it! :D

To each, his own, Brandon. I didn't like the DR very much.

I got a bundle of the DRs a while back. Was not that impressed at first, but after a couple months they taste pretty good, although I still prefer the originals
