This little flash game has sucked up hours

Don't say I didn't warn you... Its a little shooter based on War Craft III, I've made it past 2000 points only once in 3 days of playing.

If you understand crossing fields of fire you can go a long way with spending hardly any money, I'm stuck on lvl 34... the big boss on lvl 33 has over 10,000HP and he takes 100 gold if you don't kill him. So your basically screwed if he makes if through because you get gang-banged by the next mobs without having that money to spend.

Dear god, any pointers guys? I think I am going at it all wrong just building the shit out of it at the beginning and not upgrading much...

I pretty much try to keep the building to a minimum in the beginning and save the money to upgrade and build the bigger towers later in the game.
