Whew!

It's been a rough few days and the next will be no fun as well with all the unpacking, but I'm officially back in Southern Illinois once again! It's great to be back after 6 years of hopping around the globe in the military.

My "active duty" military career has ended and I'm looking very forward to the job hunt ahead and becoming a "civilian". My family and I have closed a chapter in our life and are a bit nervous about starting another, but it's exciting at the same time.

Big thanks to Opus MeX for the "good luck on the move" bomb I got the day before I left Texas. What a way to start the trip, hehe.

Thanks to everyone here at CP for the support during the deployment and these past few months. Keep your fingers crossed for me in the hopes that I find a new career soon.

I'll be seein' ya around friends, and I hope to meet up with some other Land of Lincoln Herfer's before too long.

Unpacking never ends. I've still got boxes I packed 25 years ago. I know what's in them so if I ever need it but they stay in the box :)

Waytt, I'm glad all is going well. I know your family is glad to have you home to stay. I'll miss herfing with you. Matt was very disappointed that he missed you the last time you were in town and has asked for your number. Congrats on the move and thank you for honoring us with your service and thank you for your friendship.
