I say yes, no other dominant player this year (like run away favorite), Tebow is definitely the mvp of the defending NC team, as a 1st year starter. The kid is a leader, incredibly big, strong, and fast, and is a very accurate passer with a cannon arm (he leads the nation in passing efficiency. If UF wins out and wins the SECCG, then i think Tebow wins it, he's getting better each game. If UF stumbles a time or two, then he doesn't, or if he gets hurt and misses a game or two.

Obviously i'm biased, what do you say?

I think because Tebow is a sophmore he will not win. Most likely Andre' Woodson out of UK will beat him ( The press loves him). Or the QB out of Oregon who has put up numbers clsoe to Tebow and the Pac 10 is becoming a college conference press favorite may be a winner as well.

I think athletically it is hard to argue that Tebow is the best QB in college football, but the Heisman does not necessarily go to the best athlete, contrary to popular belief.

His best chance is if UF wins the SEC since that game comes just before the Heisman award and balloting on Dec 6. I think McFadden from Ark could end up a strong contender depending on how hi syear end up.

Now, hoping Tebow has his worst game ever this Saturday.

Please Tebow should not even be in the top 5!!!

He only has moved up based upon his huge game against Kentucky! Please!

I like McFadden.

i too like dennis dixon.

and i agree with cparker, i dont think a sophomore will win it.

I agree that he wont simply because he is a sophmore. And, as bad as I hate to say it, I also agree that he is the best QB right now and should win it.

With all that said GO DAWGS!!!!!!

I think Tebow is the best quarterback in the game, but being a sophmore his chance of winning is slim. I also think that though he is big, strong and fast, if he continues to run as much as he does he will not make it through the season without being hurt.

On Nov. 24th, Matt Ryan throws a last second 52 yard T.D. pass to beat Miami and lead Boston College to an unbeaten season and solidify his claim to the Heisman trophy.

And they still won't play in the "National Championship" game.

look at his other games, and he leads the nation in passing efficiency, he was like 2nd before the UK game. McFadden is being hurt by the fact that Ark. sucks

The BC qb will prolly win it

lets not forget rice from Rutgers...Slaton and White from WVU...hell one tv college broadcasting team even had the D-Lineman from LSU as a heisman fave...cant remember his name sorry..and Let's GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Sun Devils :)

I don't think Teebow should win it, but nobody has really stepped up to claim it so far this year. However, the voters have a bias against underclassmen...just ask Peyton Manning and Adrian Peterson. Both should have won it as underclassmen, especially Peterson during his freshman year.

i couldn't believe Manning didn't win it once.

If UF wins out, and wins the SEC, Tebow will have a chance

tebow is the perfect mold for the heisman. A good player who will suck in the pros..if he even makes it to the the pros.

your nuts. Big (6'3" 240#), mobile, extremely strong (benches over 400#), cannon arm, very accurate and efficient (leads the nation), and humble and very intelligent. Yeah Bro, he sucks :sign:

he has a good college arm but no where near good enough for the pros, nor accurate. He is going to be a great college player. pro? nope. He has a much better chance of being a TE in the NFL than a qb.

With all due respect, you have no idea what you're talking about. He has a big time arm, quick release, and leads the nation in passing efficiency, not to mention the height, size, and mobility the pro's are looking for. Maybe your thinking of Leak, the Gators QB last year? I'm not making these stats up, feel free to check them out.

Matt Ryan probably just won it last night, and he is a very good Sr. QB on a good team

efficiency does not equal NFL arm. Tebow has 3rd lowest completion pct rate of the top 10 qb listed in DI. His arm will have to get much better to play in the NFL. Any of those guys can hit the 5 yard slant. As far as mobility goes, sure tebow can move. Troy Smith could move too.
