Well it is the start of that time of the year when we start dreaming of what we want. So I thought I'd throw this post this out there. What is on your wish list? What cigar, pipe, liquor or accessory out there, are you looking for?


My wish list is simple this year, I'm looking for a felt lined tray so I can store all my cutters and lighters in one place. I'll try to get a few Anejos and see what ELs I want to add.

I haven't really thought about what I would like. In all seriousness, the thought of asking for cigar stuff for christmas never crossed my mind either. But if I had to ask for something, it would probably be a nice cutter. The ones I have are crappy! hahaha

WOAM, ANEJO, and possibly a box of Petite Edmundos.

I don't know about the ANEJO though. As I posted earlier, I picked one up from this year's Toast of America and it has mold issues.

Good question Anthony, i haven't even thought about Christmas as of yet, hell i just got into the Secret Santa. Maybe i should start right now, a box of Gold Medals sounds interesting. What kind of tray are you talking about, wouldn't a felt lined box do as well?

No idea what I want. Most times I tell the wife to just don't bother. I'm so busy with figuring out what to get everyone else I don't want to think about myself. Besides all I every want is the big expensive toys.

Ah the holidays. I will hunt Anejo, even after last years disaster with the mold outbreak.

I"m still debating about ordering a box of secretos. I gotta figure out what to get my family.

Around this time of year I usually get myself a nice bottle of booze and 3-5 nice sticks for TG, X-mas and New Year.

Last year I treated myself to a bottle of Don Julio 1942 and a bottle of Highland Park 18yo. For sticks I got a ESG Church, and a 5 pack sampler of the La Aurora Preferidos tubos with all 5 wraps it was a great way to have a direct comparitive as to the diff flavor profiles of the wraps.

This year I am thinking a bottle nice bottle of Cognac, recommendations would be welcomed, as i drank the last of my XO a few months ago. I am looking for somthing special for cigars. I have a bunch of premiums right now so and I have been wrestling with the idea of purchasing a box of Tat Noella's I have really got a thing for them lately, why by a 5er when you can buy a box?

this could be the gift that keeps on giving.

This is easy .... a great Scotch, a nice new Habanos humidor, a nice pipe. Specifics? How about Laphroaig 30yo Single Islay, Elie Bleu Pop Art humidor and a Dunhill Bruyere pipe

I'm definately asking for a good Xikar cutter. Provided I can find some, I'll probably pick up a couple Anejo's to see what all the fuss is about as I haven't tried them before. That's about all I can think of at the moment, but I'm sure I'll come up with more.

If you're looking for a good Cognac, a good friend of mine owns a liquor store and will sell you L'Esprit, by Courvosier....only $4000.00 per bottle! :laugh: Nice blend of cognacs from the Napoleanic era!

I'll probably treat myself to a box of Short Stories, and maybe a bottle of Woodford's Reserve. My wallet is more limited than my tastes. I'll probably look around for some Anjeo's as I've yet to try one, or find one.

I'll take any other recommendations that the FOGs wish to impart.

I really would like the MRN book and maybe a box or two of the new Regional releases coming out of Cuba. I, for one, am not chasing any Fuente holiday crap. Not saying I won't buy any if I happen to "fall into it," but will not go out of my way :blush:
