...I seem to have gotten a reputation for unprovoked attacks... I do agree that I don't offer much to this community but I do like to hang out here. Now robbie and vhoeric think less of me and that makes me sad, particularly because they believe something that is simply not true. I'm going to pull my hair and gnash my teeth a little till I feel better.

(side note, he also says he disagrees with that reputation in the post... but of course HE would... and if even HE knows about it... shows that it's been mentioned once or twice before)

Here's the "speak out of line and all the FOGs will come down on you", as well as a wonderful example of the "FOGs can do whatever they want cause we're special" idea:

Isolating fear tactics:

You and I have an understanding. robbie has questioned my integrity regardless of who is pulling his strings. He is my enemy now.

Please feel free to read the rest of the thread where that last quote came from to see just how rude and ugly SC can get... it's difficult to quote a whole thread in BBCode.

This is just PARTS of the first 3 threads I remembered off the top of my head where this sort of stuff went on. NOW, I have not only pointed, I have shown, and you can do more research if you feel so inclined.

Heck, the first two quotes were the very first signs of ANY hostility int he threads.. no provocation at all. Others were responses to simply a question a forum policy. None of these things were warranted. Furthermore, like I said before, of course ya'll wouldn't accept them... I knew you wouldn't and my prediction has come true. And also, if you would truly like to see what preceded these quotes, you are free to go to the threads they are associated with and read away.

Also, let's throw this out there. This is ONE of the PMs I've gotten thanking me for the things I've posted here. I've left the name of the person out so that they aren't needlessly ostracized for their comments.

The PM subject was, "You are the f**kin man!" Also, he says he's "newer" but he's actually been here almost a YEAR... long enough not to be a "noob" and to also know the workings of the forum.

I think that speaks pretty clearly as to what others think as well... and just bolsters my point of people being afraid to speak up against the FOGs.

Read the PS. message. I know rod has made a point before that posting pictures that do nothing to help resolve/aid a thread do not do it. It is a waste of Bandwidth. (I could not find the original post Rod made about posting pictures, but I know he made a clear point to not post pointless pictures)

Lastly, quite honestly it does not matter what side of the fence you are on, If Rod accepts HM in the community we should. I know that Rod has made a point that this board is as much as ours as it is his, but we really need to try to settle down the drama. Like my father used to say "If you got nothing nice to say, DONT SAY IT".

You can use the quotes I referenced to transport you to the threads in question. Anyone who's used the forum as much as you would know that. Either way, ya'll refuse to listen to anyone but your click, so this is a futile effort. This will be my last post on the subject. I will not be brought back in by anything you say, so don't bother. A number of good points have been made here as to a need for change of the current status quo. And even more PMs have been sent my way agreeing. So I sincerely hope that the FOGs take some of this advice to heart and things can change for the better. As you said, this is a community... so please do your part to make it a better one.

Well the facts are that Humidor Minister has permission to post in the retailer thread. His prices are what they are, I would like to see you question the cigar manufacturers pricing! If any one from the Fuente's came on here and posted in the retailers thread that they are going to make a $100 super premium cigar you would feign all over him and the cigar.
To question humidor minister's work with false accusations such as the one about using a different tool is not cool. The man puts a hell of a lot of work in on his wonderful looking humidors.

If you'd like to address me directly, verhoevc, start a thread in the lobby and stop all the ankle biting ya twit. Better yet, I'll start one. You can either shut up or stand up pal, your accusations are not true. That goes for the rest of you malcontents too.


Love the work HM but I'll have to pass at the price stated. I believe you may be overreacting to some comments made here... a little humility goes a long way.
