How true! I always try to find another reason to open my humis or cooler - to check for humidity, to rearrange, to rearrange yet again. Only to have another sniff of that sacred aroma. It is another reason why I prefer to smoke my cigars at home where I can savour Habano's fragrant scent...

Started the day with a local shop's "house blend" robusto. RyJ #4 at midday. H.Upmann Mag 46 from 05 box. Still a bit young but delicious nonetheless.

Back in the 80's Russia was flooded with Cuban cigarettes. Some unheard of filtered brands like Kim and Wisant (utter crap), but the main event was non-filtered stuff: H.Upmann, Partagas, Montecristo and the king of them all - Ligeros. King size, non filter, somewhat thicker gauge, sweet paper...

Just had one yesterday. Absolutely gorgeous! Stick was a little bit hesitant at first half inch (probably it did not have enough time to nap - I was way too anxious to try it): somewhat crooked burn, tight draw and not a lot of smoke, but then it opened up and when it did.... oh my!
