    Hygrometer Problems

-1 that digital hygros are not affected by temperature. Whether digital or analog, a hygro will display RELATIVE humidity. In simple words, in a given sealed environment like a humidor, if it gets cooler then the humidity will drop. And if it gets hotter, then the humidity will rise.

    Suggestion

You may want to try the Partagas Serie D No4 and or the Romeo y Julieta Short Churchills. They are both on the mild side of robustos. The El rey del Mundo Choix Supreme is also mild but it is not a robusto(ring 50). It is a hermoso no4 with a ring of 48.

Does anyone have any experience with the Curivari brand? Any suggestions on any of their products? Thanks.

I can agree with your view. And if they are as good as you say, that makes for a big difference. Cheers

Wow. Now that's a surprise. Maybe I should ask my grandma to join as well. She was good with the damn thing.

Thanks for that. I read all of it. I take your word for granted that they are tasty. If you are sure that the tobacco is cuban, I have nothing to say. The point I made - and I am sorry to stick to this- is that they are not in the habanos production line. Anyway thanks again for the info. Much...

Thanks for that. I was using the same bulb. Still these Johnny O are no habanos.

What is a Johnny-O? For sure this is not a habanos production.

You would be looking at cigars with rather aggressive character. The palate needs to adjust and be trained into the cuban cigars. It takes some time. You are better off to start with the classics rather than go for the extremes such as Cuabas, RASS etc. Not to mention that ageing is an absolute...

    H Upmann Mag 46

IMHO this is the corona gorda standard. All others are comparing with the king. If aged, they take you to the roof.

A safe introduction to the cc world would be Montechristo, Partagas, Romeo y Julieta. These are classics. Cohibas, Hoyo de Monterrey, H. Upmann will take you some steps further. (I don't like the cohibas but lots of people do). Por Larranaga, Punch, Juan Lopez, Saint Luis Rey are the real...

    Montecristo "Open"

Hi all. I am a newbie in the forum but got a couple of decades of cigar smoking in my lungs  I have burned 2 boxes of the Eagle. This is a great cigar by all standards. Prelight aromas are sweet and mellowish, burn and draw are flawless. The cigar is an overdose of chocolate and...
