From what I'm reading, it sounds like I'm on the "too organized" side of things. I use the boxpressd app for each individual cigar, in combo with a note in Google notes to keep track of what box each cigar is in, and in which humidor. I also add the intake date to each cigar before it's added...

It's an interesting exercise to think about how much room you have. I feel like I go through those gyrations every time I want to order new sticks. Addressing the "buddy" scenario, if a buddy asked to put a few boxes away for a year+ I would advise him to break open his boxes, and get started...

I picked up a batch of macanuto cafe court (a smaller relative of the stick you're talking about) in late September. It smoked like I'd imagine the grass from my front yard. I went back and smelled the batch and sure enough, there was ammonia. Seems clear the manufacturer gave this no aging at...

An update: I've been using the app for a short time now. It's the best cigar tool I didn't know I wanted / needed. Fantastic and thanks again! I find that I can very quickly add new acquisitions, or I can spend more time pulling documentation like CA ratings and reviews. Obviously the latter...
