    I tried an electric starter way back and just use newspaper in the chimney now. I got the idea from AB. He done a chimney and squeezed the steak under the bottom of the chimney where the newspaper was to cook. Those chimneys with the draft get stupid hot. HT

    A couple years ago I got a turkey fryer burner from bass pro on black friday and tried that w a 12 in lodge cast iron and its was ok but it was tough regulating the flame and then you had to clean that big guy which no one feels like doing after downing a big piece of meat. HT
