I am a retired widower who lives in a small town in Northern Michigan. I worked for 30 years as an investigator for the State of Michigan. These days, my interest remain with my family [I have three children and five grandchildren] and my love of travel. Four trips taken last year were to Long Beach Washington on the west coast, Mexico Beach, Florida on the Gulf Coast, Niagara Falls in Canada and to Nova Scotia on the east coast. In May of this year [2011] I will spend a month visiting with friends in Kharkov, Ukraine and two weeks at Yalta in Crimea. The only other point that I should bring up about myself is that I am a long time cigar aficianado with many humidors filled with goodies from all over. Some of the fondest times spent has been with good friends who also enjoy a good cigar. Add to that formula some cognac and pleasant conversation and all is well.

Travel, Fishing, Power boats, swimming, wood carving, still enjoy learning new languages - currently working on Russian, all the pleasures of a retired man.
