I've been a sr. systems administrator for a Fortune 50 health insurance company for about 12 years now and I'm thinking about making a change. The super-huge corporation thing has lost its appeal and I'm about ready to get back to being an alpha-geek again. The older I get, the less willing I am to put up with what Microsoft is pushing and with people who refuse to put in the effort to help themselves.<br />

On a lighter note, I have recently experienced the first instance of bloom in one of my humidors. I don't know why that makes me so happy, but there it is. My other humidors, unfortunately, are suffering from the recent and severe drop in temperature and RH. I'm trying very hard not to freak out, as is my nature, and instead am focused on gently coaxing my hygrometers back into the 60s.
I love wasting time with cigars, firearms and technology. When I can find the time, that is. There always seems to be something *constructive* that I should be doing. Ah well, it's just as well because SW Virginia seems much too cold to smoke outdoors this winter and I haven't yet been able to convince my wife to turn the basement rec room into a walk-in humidor.
I absolutely love maduros, but I never shy away from a good cigar, unless it's a Padilla Obsidian. I also have a soft spot for the Natural Dirt Torpedo. Being a Drew Estates infused cigar, it can start up some lively consversations.
"I have made it a rule never to smoke more that one cigar at a time."
