My name is Michael. I'm currently undergoing my third year of study under a bachelor of Health Science with a Major in human genetics, but have until recently been employed as a Hotel Manager in Townsville (North Queensland, Australia). I'm new to the cigar world, having awoken in a hotel room in Tokyo late last November and finding myself extremely hungover and in the possession of a few hundred dollars worth of cigars and lighters. Needless to say, after smoking the first of my ill-considered booty I immediately decided that this was something I would like to explore.

Although I can't say what my favourite brand or shape is with any conviction, having only tried a small number of smokes, I can say that whilst in Tokyo a friend and I smoked a Cuaba Exclusivos and Divinos, Cohiba Siglo II and III, and a couple of El Rey Del mundo and Bolivars of which I can't recall the size whilst in Tokyo, and I have since purchased a small number of Cohiba Siglo III's which I have yet to smoke.

I've also just purchased my first Humidor, humidification puck, and a Cigar Oasis Ultra (which I've had to send back for replacement as it was faulty) and I've already made numerous mistakes.

In any case, I'm extremely glad to be a member of the forum and feel free to say hello.

Cheers,
Michael.
