I am new to cigars but have come to enjoy weekly aromatherapy via tobacco. I purchased my first cigar on a whim on the 4th of July, 2008. The night proved to be a very relaxed evening due to the fire not only in the sky but in my hand as well. In the fall I procured a few more smokes & was provided with varying vistas on each occasion. Through the winter I largely forgot about the lure of tobacco as I was trapped indoors.
Due to the impending birth of my son, this spring I answered the Call of the Leaf again as I began research for a proper box of cigars to hand out to loved ones at the occasion (a lovely tradition). This led to the necessity of getting more familiar with cigars myself, & so the quest began in earnest.
Under the auspices of the Magi on this board (2 months post-enlistment), I now own a hygrometer, humidity beads & a cooler posing as a humidor as I slowly build a collection of fine rolled tobacco.
Cheers!
Ah, who am I kidding? The flavor profiles of those cigars sound wonderful but I still have not developed my palette.
My interests include reading, music, animals, nature, & the salivatory pleasures of life: coffee, wine & tobacco.
