I'm a young working college student (English major) in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire. I grew up in NH, and love it here. I started smoking cigars right after I turned 18 four years ago- my father was a big cigar smoker, and I'm the son who took up the hobby. Luckily for me, there are plenty of good cigar shops in NH, so usually I can find something I want and something I want to try. I'm a member of a couple other forums, and really look forward to being a member here, because Cigar Pass seems a whole lot friendlier and helpful than a lot of the other cigar forums I looked at, and with some past experience with forums, I know that there's a lot of people on the web who love to be annoying. So I'm glad to be here and look forward to getting to know you guys!
I prefer cigars with a tighter ring gauge- a corona, a lonsdale, or a lancero seem to be exactly what the doctor ordered to me. This isn't a hard and fast rule, of course- my favorite cigar I've smoked was the La Flor Dominicana Salomon, and that certainly doesn't have a tight ring gauge. I love LFD cigars in general, of course, but the Salomon struck me as absolutely perfect. Other favorites include the LFD DL Lancero Oscuro, the Liga Privada #9 Double Corona, the Dirty Rat, the Illusione CG-4, the Tatuaje Especiale, the Cabaiguan Petite, the Hemingway Short Story, and the Joya de Nicaragua Celebracion Corona. For a nice inexpensive stick, I like to smoke the Padron Londres, maduro capa.
Obviously, it's not a regular list of cigars I look for every time I head to the B&M, but if there's one cigar on there I would want above all others, it'd be the Litto Gomez. I tend not to shop online since I prefer to pick up singles at a time- my job pays well enough, but buying a box is still a tall order for a college kid. I also kept my list of ISOM's short because I don't see an real need for them- there's more than enough great NC smokes I can get easily and without great expense to keep me occupied for quite a while.
I'm going to be moving near the end of the summer, so I'm going to hold off on posting my address here until then to prevent confusion.

I enjoy reading quite a bit, my taste focusing on the romantic era British authors, the great Russians like Dostoyevsky, British humorists like Wodehouse and Douglas Adams, golden era science fiction like Bester and Heinlein, and for light reading modern pulp science fiction and zombie novels.

I'm also fairly large into computer games, with a preferred platform of the computer and following that, 32-bit consoles.

I also am getting into cocktails, scotch, and wine. For cocktails, I generally prefer gin-based drinks like the negroni and a classic martini (the drink needs vermouthandorange bitters to really stand out, imho) or rye whiskey manhattans and old fashioneds. I'm a bit shakier on the scotch and wine- for scotch, I so far like the peatier single malts, and for wine, I like syrah/shiraz and cabernet sauvignon.
