My interests, outside of family, are fishing, cigars, and Confederate Reenacting. I live in the great state of North Carolina, where we have the best of everything. I'm two hours from the mountains and two hours from the Atlantic coast.
I've been smoking cigars since the birth of my only daughter, Amanda, in Sept. of 1982, when my grandfather provided Romeo y Julieta Churchills as the cigar of choice for birth give-a-ways. That was the same cigar that he had given my father, in 1956, to give away for my birth. The tradition continued when my grandson was born in March 2006, and RyJ Churchills were given to the father by me to hand out.
Since 1982, I have smoked MANY cigars, and I have found my favorites to be:

NC's
Padrons..........both the regular and anniversary lines
Fuente...........Don Carlos, Hemingways, and Opus
Ashton...........VSG'S

Cuban's
Partagas.........PSD4(my alltime favorite cigar) and others
RomeoyJulieta....Churchill(my sentimental favorite cigar)
Montecristo......#2's and 4's(wife's favorite Cuban)
HoyoDeMonterrey..Epicure #2
Cuaba............Love the Divino for a short smoke
H. Uppman........Coronas Major
Ramon Allones....Specially Selected

These are just my favorites, but I smoke all kinds of cigars, and try new ones weekly.

John Perry
3212 Old Neusiok Trail
Wake Forest, N.C. 27587
