Just started smoking cigars about 5 months ago, there is so much, really a lot, to learn about them and I am very excited by what lies ahead. I am a metrologist by trade and work for an avionics company in Phoenix. Learning about cigars and all of the different varieties is very fascinating and intriguing. Just starting to fill up my first humidor, the Art Deco 150 capacity model from Cheap Humidors. So far, being a neophyte, I have been sticking with the milder offerings: Macanudo, Biarritz, 5 Vegas Gold, Augusto Reyes Cordova, etc. But I have acquired some Monte Cristo's, Gurkha's, Sol Cubano's, 5 Vegas Miami's, various Rocky Patel's, Man O War's, Don Pepin Garcia's, Comacho's, La Herencia Cubano's for future use when I eventually acquire a taste for the fuller flavored cigars. Sampling all of the wonderful varieties is exciting and very rewarding. A fine cigar with a glass of Bourbon in the evening, to unwind with, from a long and hectic day, feels like Heaven!!! I look forward to expanding my knowledge and understanding of this fantastic hobby.
