Ok, thanks for the input. I might just deal with the sidewalk without a drink. Maybe I'll look up some of those places if they don't take too long to get to.

Where can I smoke a cigar and enjoy a drink in Chicago (downtown)

I'm here in Chicago on business and this city is annoying me! It's a very nice, clean city but I can't find a place to enjoy a cigar with a glass of scotch or beer. Looks like smoking is banned everywhere indoors, and all the places I've been too won't even let you smoke outside when on their...

My lotus lighter now has to build up a bit of gas first beore lighting

Actually, cleaning it (used nail polish remover since wife had that on-hand), or at least moving that little pin thing (the igniter?) around just a little bit seemed to have helped. Thanks everyone for the replies.

Cool. I will try that today (and/or try it with alcohol.) To the other poster/questions: - No I haven't contacted the retailer who my wife bought it from. - I'm using Xicar butane that I purchased online

Currently it now seems to be have a slight issue. It used to always work the first time when you pull down on...

I've been smoking cigars now pretty religiously over the past year or so, trying out all different kinds. Loving the hobby (even if my checking account...aka wife disagrees:) Anyway, after all this time, I still often get confused on the wrapper terms. Interestingly I've only found a few web...

    Cigar bar etiquette?

The RC Freedom class of ships supposedly has a cigar bar ("The Connoisseur's Club") mentioned on the website virtual tour http://www.royalcaribbean.com/multimedia/v...hipClassCode=FR The website could possibly not have been updated though. Actually, I'll be happy just smoking on deck...

    Cigar bar etiquette?

I'm a new cigar smoker and have yet to frequent any cigar bars. I've waited tables for several years in the past so I want to be respectful of eating/drinking establishments. I'll be going on a cruise in a few weeks on Royal Caribbean and I noticed they have an on-board cigar bar. I plan on...
