Any updates?

I have one. I love it!  Unfortunately, during my last move, the movers loaded it into a crate without removing the feet, then piled a bunch of stuff on top of it, ripping the feet right out.  Now it sits on the floor until I get around to fixing it. 

Great!  Happy to help.  I looked on SO many websites for exactly that material and couldn't find it.  Everything was either too wide, too thick, or the wrong color.  I finally checked eBay out of desperation and there it was... 

Do you mean to seal the door?  This is what I'll be using.  And rare earth magnets.

Copy.  All my research suggests mahogany does great at maintaining RH, maybe even better than Spanish cedar.  I'm planning to build a large double-door cabinet humidor at some point, and just using mahogany rather than lining it with cedar.  It does smell great though!   Did you see this...

Why not  just build it out of solid mahoghany?  No need to line it then...
