We are a small, husband and wife owned, tobacco shop in Cape Carteret, NC that is closing its doors after 5 yrs. We are in a small community shopping center and over the last year our neighbor, Blockbuster Video, have been getting complaints from their customers saying that they will not shop in their store while they can smell smoke in their store. We have had many people go into Blockbuster to see if these complaints are true or not, and although not even the landlord's employees have smelled smoke in their store, we are still not able to renew our lease because of this problem. We have a lot of people that move here from other states that do not allow smoking in places and so they move here and are trying to make this place a non-smoking area also. I say keep on smoking!!!
