    Awaiting vitrectomy surgery possibly in late August. Anyone here gone through that?

    Was told that the doc would drain vitreous fluid from my eyeball, then laser patch a hole in the back of the eye (retina), then fill with oil and some gas to begin the refilling process naturally, but the issue is (besides no cigars for a couple of weeks) that I'll be semi prone 40 minutes out of every hour for some 7-10 days looking down kinda like in the pic. Ughhhh... Not looking good!
