1 part Mcc 5100 Red Cake to 1 part SG Golden Glow... Very nice, quintessence of mild with a nice vitamin N hit. BTW Golden Glow is packaged bulk as SG Medium Virginia Flake for those that arn't aware.
I stick with the Mc 5100 Red Cake; I use it as my general blending tobacco. I put in some SG flakes with it to extend my flake supply. I think it's a great bulk blend. If you like VA's you can't go wrong with Red Cake.
I am; so I'll start it off:
McClelland 5100 Red Cake 8 oz.
SG Best Brown Flake 4 oz.
SG Full Virginia Flake 4 oz.
4noggins Down By The River 8 oz.
4noggins Covered Bridges 4 oz.
4noggins Weybridge 4 oz.
I also love the Mcc 5100 Red Cake. Seems I'm turning into a Va smoker from a Burley smoker. You can get 4 oz of Red Cake for $12.50 from 4noggins... I put a little SG Golden Glow with my Red Cake, seems to be my favorite.
List price is $100... selling for $50... Would anyone know if this would be a good value of $50 for a smoker with only 2 cobs and 2 no-name $30 Italian smokers??? Any input is appreciated.
Smoking my go-to burley: 1part 4noggins Down by the River (sub for PA), 1 part 4noggins Covered Bridges (sub for Captain Black White) in a no-name Italian billiard.
