Hey sorry I wasnt able to make it. I eneded up jumpin on a friends boat thursday night and went to Catalina for the weekend, fishin lobsters. Thanks again for the hospitality and putting this together. Glad you all had a good time

Wow that brings back memories. I too have done that, almost exact, trip with my family four or five times when I was younger. Cardinal Village is amazing. So beautiful and peaceful. As you said, the fishing is amazing too. I love that place, and wish to get back soon. Damn it now you got me...

I would personally recommend a German Shorthaird Pointer. Normally they are used as hunting dogs, yet they make great family pets, and fulfill the protective qualities that you seek. My family got one when I had just turned 3 years old, and 15 years later she is still going strong. They respond...

I recieved 3 in May as an early graduation present. I tried to smoke one, and it kicked my noob butt...I was on the couch for an hr or so trying to sleep it off haha I thought it was pretty good though. Im deff gunna let the other 2 age for a long time...

From a fellow noob I find "Punch" to be a good brand as well. IMHO (Rare Corojo Double Corona is my go to stick at the moment)
